Earlier this year we set a goal as a family to participate in the annual NSL 5K run. A few days before the race, we drove the course and I had my doubts that the kids and I could really go the full distance. Kyle, however, trained for the last 2 months so I was sure he'd be able to complete the race. Well, the big day came and we lined up at the starting line. Kyle took off running as the kids and I began the LONG walk. After the first mile, Cade and Abby were tired of walking with me and started jogging. They never turned back and finished the race together well ahead of me. Once Kyle finished his run, he came back to see how I was doing. He pushed the stroller for me the rest of the way so I could finish up strong. Despite a big, fat, eight month pregnant belly, I jogged across the finish line in under an hour! And I didn't come in last! We did it! I was so proud of my little family for completing the 5K. Way to go Kisebachs! Unfortunately we have no pictures of this big day because we've lost the camera. Don't worry, we'll find it before the baby is born or we'll buy a new one.
Thanks to Grandpa & Grandma's camera, we have a few pictures of the kid's big events.

Abby in her "Big Girl" costume at her dance recital. She did a great job dancing this year. She remembered her routines and had lots of fun dancing on stage.
Cade and his soccer team celebrating after a winning season. Cade is fast and has a strong left footed kick. He loves playing in the defensive position but also scored a goal or two each game.

Yeah for the Kisebach's doing the 5k. Sounds like you guys did great. So what is on Abby's head in that picture. Is she wearing a wig? How fun!
Yes - it's a wig, a big beehive hairdo wig. I thought her Pirates costume was cuter but we don't have pictures of her in that one yet.
That is so funy we both did a 5k! I would have never just done it on my own, there are some friends in the ward who are sponsered runner--one ofthem just won a 50mile ultra marathon in WI a couple weeks ago. Yes, won. I am just glad I got through the 5k. I am proud of my patheticism.
I can't imagaine being pregnant and doing it though! GOod job!!!
